What is this Separation and Unity About?
This is the most fascinating area. The path to inner peace and joy. Let us start with the mind. Humans are special because we can create realities into the future that have not happened yet. We create this in our minds. This is our intelligence and we suffer from it. All suffering is the difference between what we want and what is. The ego is an image that we keep in our minds of what and who we are or should be. The ego needs separation. Ego needs the concept of us and them to survive. The ego in it’s very essence is a separation tool. As is intelligence, We want our intelligence sharp so that we can get to the detail and dissect it. All in the name of understanding. As said by Jiddu Krishnamurti: “The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of intelligence.” To go into the future or the past is our great gift. But staying there will bring suffering and violence. Being in a state of awareness of the now is such a gift. That is why we call it the present. To be part of something you have to acknowledge it. When you look at your finger, it is part of you. How you treat that finger matters. So when you hold a glass of water, you should know that if you drink it, it becomes you. How you treat the water matters. One last point on separation: your intellect will protect your identity. If you identify as rich, your intellect will protect that. When you identify as gay, your intellect will protect that. So the boundaries that you place on your identity becomes very important. Identity is key for conflict and the ego. When we look at the world we want to have an inclusive world view. The view where the suffering of the other becomes the suffering of the self. This is done through awareness.
How does the current money system promote: Separation?
Our current money system is designed to break us apart on every level of awareness we have.
Here are some examples.
- On the transaction level the buyer and seller have different goals. Sellers want to earn more and buyers want to pay less.
- Creating have and have nots.
- Creating scarcity in money.
- By creating money from debt we are transported away from the current awareness and into the future.
- By wanting to pay off debt we are placed into a future dream state where freedom will come.
- We are placed into an illusion because freedom never comes.
- When one person earns interest or is debt free, other people have to go into debt to service his interest.
- There is never enough money to pay off the interest.
- Creating class separation between people.
- Creating the ability to own something or someone.
How does OIC promote: Unity?
- On the transaction level. Buyers and sellers have the same goal. To protect nature. This way buyers pay less and sellers earn more. The difference is created.
- By having a separate creation balance, that can be used to create money for the other. To protect nature or nurture the other.
- By bringing an awareness of the damage that is done with what we buy.
- By creating money for the energy here and now, we are kept in the present.
- By having the ability to create the scarcity is removed.
- By making the power come from the people the separation between people is broken down.
- By using a form of demurrage spending money is greatly encouraged.
- Using creation money to pay for goods brings what we want into alignment with what is healthy for all life to thrive.
